According to customers' packaging needs, our food-grade white paperboard can be customized with functional coatings such as oil resistance, moisture resistance, water resistance, high temperature resistance, freeze resistance and retort resistance through online coating. All coatings comply with food direct contact standards, suitable for various packaging of bakery products, fast food, takeout, frozen food, cooked food, nuts, fried food and so on.

I. Oil Resistance

Application Scenarios

Fried food, French fries, fried chicken, hamburgers, pizza, pastries, donuts, nuts, oily snacks
Disposable lunch boxes, trays, paper bags, cartons, takeout boxes

Performance Features

Adopts food-grade fluorine-free oil-resistant coating (PFAS-free environmentally friendly type available)
High oil resistance level, no oil seepage, no paper bleeding and no softening during long-term placement
Smooth surface, does not affect printing, die-cutting and folding
Complies with FDA and EU 10/2011 food contact requirements
Different oil resistance levels (low/middle/high) can be customized according to customer needs

II. Moisture & Water Resistance

Application Scenarios

Fresh food, frozen food, wet wipe packaging, refrigerated pastries, outer boxes for takeout soup, fruit and vegetable trays

Performance Features

Single-sided or double-sided coated with food-grade water-resistant coating
Effectively blocks moisture in the air, preventing the paperboard from softening, deforming and mildewing
Resistant to condensed water, suitable for cold chain transportation and refrigerated environment
Does not affect the stiffness of the paperboard, and the pasting and bonding effect is stable

III. High Temperature Resistance

Application Scenarios

Hot meal takeout, freshly fried food, hot drink sleeves, bakery cartons, microwave-applicable packaging

Performance Features

Can withstand short-term high-temperature contact (usually up to 100~220℃)
No delamination, no peculiar smell release and no coating peeling off at high temperature
Suitable for hot filling, heat sealing and direct holding of hot meals
Safe and non-toxic, complying with food contact heating safety requirements

IV. Freeze Resistance

Application Scenarios

Frozen pasta, ice cream, frozen meat, quick-frozen food, seafood trays

Performance Features

Stable in low-temperature environment of -18℃ ~ -40℃
The paperboard does not become brittle, the coating does not crack or powder
Resistant to condensed water, preventing moisture absorption and softening
Suitable for long-term cold chain storage and long-distance export transportation

V. Retort Resistance

Application Scenarios

Bento, self-heating food, retort-ready food, high-temperature sterilization packaging

Performance Features

Can withstand high-temperature steam and humid heat environment
After retorting, the paper does not deform, break, bubble or the coating is stable
Strong barrier property, extending the shelf life of food
It is mostly used in food enterprises with high requirements on safety and stability
